Libraries as Publishers

What started out as a way to offer e-books to their patrons, the Douglas County Library (Colorado) has discovered many more uses for its software system, including publishing. Other libraries across the nation are creating their own versions. This has ramifications for publishers, readers, and authors. Very interesting!
