MMGM for MAY 6, 2019

Marvelous Middle Grade Monday has May flowers for you along with a bouquet of great reviews and features. Click the flower for my review of EXPLORER ACADEMY—THE FALCON’S FEATHER. Do the same for the other features and reviews below.
June McCrary Jacobs at ‘Reading, Writing, & Stitch-Metic’ has a S.T.E.A.M. feature, Daring Dozen: The Twelve Who Walked on the Moon. The book chronicles the Apollo missions in honor of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the first moon walk in July, 1969.
Welcome back to Maria Antonia at Of Books, Photography, and Tea. This week is an enticing review of William S. and the Great Escape by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.
Joanne Fritz at My Brain on Books has a teaser for Nicole Valentine’s debut novel A TIME TRAVELER’S THEORY OF RELATIVITY (which pubs Oct 1, 2019).
House of Reads has a review of THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN by Katherine Applegate.
Rosi Hollinbeck reviews and has a GIVEAWAY of SHOUTING AT THE RAIN by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. Rosi also features some not to be missed links for her writing friends.
Janet Smart at Creative Writing In The Blackberry Patch has a post about The Ghost, the White House, and Me.
Karen Yingling at Ms. Yingling Reads has another informative MMGM post. Be sure to check out today’s feature and all of her reviews the past week including JUST JAIME.
If you would like to join in the MMGM fun and get your own spot in the parade, all you have to do is blog about a middle grade book you love on a Monday (contests, author interviews and whatnot also count–but are most definitely not required) and email me the title of the book you’re featuring and a link to your blog at gpcolo (at) gmail (dot) com
(Make sure you put MMGM or Marvelous Middle Grade Monday in the subject line so it gets sorted accurately–and please don’t forget to say what book you’re featuring)
You MUST email me your link by Sunday evening (11 PM Eastern Time) in order to be included in the list of links for the coming Monday.
Thanks for spreading the middle grade love and for being a part of this awesome tradition begun by Shannon Messenger and carried on here at ALWAYS in the MIDDLE! (CLICK HERE FOR PAST MMGM POSTS)
*Please note: these posts are not a reflection of my own opinions on the books featured. Each blogger is responsible for their own MMGM content and I do not pre-screen reviews ahead of time, nor do I control what books they choose. I simply assemble the list based on the links that are emailed to me.

  1. Thanks, Greg. Just FYI, for some reason, I didn’t get a notification of this post, but I did get a notification of your regular post. And, yes, I did check my spam.
